Marek Bohac uses his electric cylinder players in an unusual way: he connects two of them to a mixer table and does some DJ-ing, schratch and all (all this on another page on this site). But he is not content to play vintage cylinders, and produces his own, on this home made recorder. The construction is very sturdy, as it should be, with the power to turn the cylinder coming from a three phase oump motor. The stylus is driven by a loudspeaker which has been outfitted with a cone at the center. Christer Hamp, 2015
